Hi, I’m Jerry Boyd, the Lead Worship Pastor of Cherokee Hills Baptist Church and I’m honored to be able to share with you the exciting things that God is doing through our Worship Arts Ministry. As we live our daily lives, every moment should be an expression of gratitude back to God - the praise that He so rightfully deserves.
Psalm 33: 1 – 4 says “ sing joyfully to the lord , you righteous ; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. Praise the Lord with the harp ; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre, Sing to him a new song ; play skillfully , and shout for joy. For the word ot the Lord is right and true, he is faithful in all he does.
At Cherokee Hills , lives are being changed as we are learning together how to seek Gods presence through surrendering our hearts to Him. We continually strive to go deeper with Him , through our Worship , a love for His people, and a passion for those who have yet to experience hope in Christ. Our mission is to provide a place where believers and nonbelievers can meet on level ground at the cross, to experience God’s love and forgiveness.

Cherokee Hills Baptist Church's Worship Arts Ministries consists of four main areas:
1. Program Ministries include choir and vocal worship teams, worship bands and orchestra, youth worship arts, our dance and signing teams, and our Performing Arts Ministry team which consists of our stage crew, stage decoration (weekly and seasonal) and production crew (design and construction).
2. Children in Fine Arts provides kids, preschool through Sixth Grade, with fun training in basic musical skills as they learn about God’s love and how they can express their love for Him.
3. Theatre Arts provides opportunities for youth and adults to be involved in drama, in worship as well as musical dramas and dinner theater settings, with the vision of using theater evangelism through involvement in community events.
4. Technical Arts involves the sound and media teams that support our weekly worship experiences and special events.

Inside these pages, I pray you will see our heart and purpose when it comes to seeing the Body of Christ experience Him in life changing worship and ministries that seek to break down barriers  and build a bridge to providing a safe place for the lost to come and equipping the body to reach the world.
Within this call , we have a vision of providing a  Fine Arts School that offers instruction in all the arts and equips artists to use their talents for the glory of God.
