Cherokee Hills Baptist Church subscribes to the current doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.  This Church further functions around five purposes (core values) aimed at helping those who do not know God to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.  The Bible, our complete revelation from God to His people, has given us the purposes for which His Church exists in the world.  The five purposes of this Church are:

Love the Lord with all your heart (Magnify)  Psalm 34:3

Love your neighbor as yourself (Ministry)  Ephesians 4:12a

Go and make disciples (Missions, evangelism home and abroad)  Acts 1:8; 20:24

Baptizing them (Membership into the fellowship)  Ephesians 2:19

Teaching them to obey (Maturity  Ephesians 4:12b
