Worship Choir
This ministry of Worship Choir members (18 years and older) primary purpose is to minister to Believers/Unbelievers through Worship specials that are used in our worship times together during the weekend services. The Choir ministry leads Worship every Sunday; while preparing songs to sing approx. 2 to 3 times a month in assigned worship times. The song selection includes a wide-variety of “high-energy”, spiritually uplifting; and emotional stirring selections that believers/unbelievers can be ministered to. The choir has a two- fold purpose; 1) touch the hearts and attitudes thru life-transformation worship & 2) to encourage and edify the body. No audition necessary but ministry interview with the Worship Pastor is a pre-requisite. Come join us for fun, fellowship, prayer, and worship preparation!
Rehearsal: Wednesday evenings from, 6:30 – 7:30 in the choir room with an optional rehearsal time on Thursday mornings from 10-11.
Worship Vocal Team
This ministry of Worship Team members (18 years or older) primary purpose is to lead, inspire, to engage believers/unbelievers in Worship through our worship services. This ministry is designed for the more experienced vocalist whose “call” is to be a Worship Leader. This vocal ministry team leads along side of the choir while preparing weekly to lead Worship. Team membership leads in worship on a rotational basis. This team consists of 3- 6 voices at a given time. Members of this team are faithful , committed choir members. Ministry interview with specific music expectations with the Worship Pastor is a pre-requisite with a “vision review” once a quarter with team members.
Rehearsal: Currently: 6:00 – 6:30 on Wednesday evenings in the choir room and on Sunday morning from 8:45 – 9:30.
Instrumental (Worship Band and Orchestra)
This ministry provides opportunities for Artists (18 years and older) to serve God thru their gifts and musical talents. In addition to providing leadership to areas listed above, this ministry team provides leadership in our weekend services. It will also supply regular accompaniment to our special music; as often as possible. Ministry interview with the Worship Pastor and/or ministry team leader is a pre-requisite. Advanced music reading is a must for both of these ministries. Previous experience as a worship accompanist is preferred, but not mandatory.
Rehearsal: Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:30 and Sunday mornings, 8:45-9:30, both in the Sanctuary.
Youth Worship Arts
Offered to youth, grades 7-12, this ministry primary purpose is to create an environment for young people to lead out in Worship and support their Youth ministry times and activities. This ministry also includes the Fine Arts: drama, Worship Band/Vocal Team and Instrumental activities. It also provides an environment for gift/skill development thru music opportunities; as well as, strengthening self-esteem by giving purposes/goals, after which they can feel a sense of accomplishment.
