Paul was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Saved in his early teens, he began preaching at age 15 and began pastoring at age 17.  For neearly four decades he has pastored churches in Texas and Oklahoma.  Paul and his wife, Mary, met while in High School, and married in 1959.  They have four children ad 12 grandchildren.  Paul is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.  He has served on the Southern Baptist Convention Foreign Mission Board, and is a past President of Texas Alumni of Southwestern Seminary.    He is currently President of Vital Truth Ministries.  Paul and Mary live in Norman, Oklahoma.
